Tollywood Annapurna Studios which is located in Hyderabad today met with an fire accident. This mishap took place on Monday at 6 p.m. According to the official reports from Annapurna Studios nearly Rs. 2 crores assets has been lost. Also Manam movie set has been lost with the fire accident. Manam is the last movie of Akkineni Nagarjuna in which his father Akkineni Nageshwar Rao played his last act. It is fortunate that no life has been lost in this incident. Within 3 minutes of fire set the movie set has been totally burnt into ashes.
Nagarjuna and other’s have reached the Annapurna studios. Before the fire extinguishers came to the incident the movie set was completely burnt into ashes. The Annapurna Studio staff has tried to extinguish but there could not extinguish the fire and save the assets. According to the initial reports over Rs 2 crores gross assets has been lost due to this fire accident. Manam movie set was totally burnt. Manam is a complete family picture of three generations of Akkineni. This movie has impressed the Akkineni fans.
Manam movie is the last movie of Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Since this was the last movie of his father the movie the movie set was reserved. Reasons for mishap:
According to the initial reports this fire accident took place because of electrical short circuit. The officials are trying the best to put off the fire. It is reported that a group of students belonging to the Annapurna film school where shooting a short film in the Annapurna studios. This fire was mainly due to the electrical short circuit which was occurred while arranging the electrical cables. The students flood from the incident place as soon as the fire was set.
