Images of Xiaomi Mi 7 and 6X Leaked, Specs and Design Features
Xiaomi is all set to rock the Indian market. The company will hit the market with two new models. A leak has displayed the new Xiaomi Mi 6X and Mi 7. The Xiaomi Mi 6X is said to be the successor to Mi 5X. Xiaomi Mi 5X was rebranded as Mi A1 in India. Xiaomi Mi 7 would be the next flagship smartphone, which would be launched at MWC 2018.
Among the several rumors regarding the Mi 7 smartphone, the latest is from Naijatech which displays the back side of the smartphone with a horizontally aligned dual camera setup and an LED flash. The report even says that the smartphone may support wireless charging.
CNMO has also leaked another image which shows the front side of the smartphone. The leaks show that Mi 7 may feature a fingerprint scanner on the back. The image even shows a thin top bezel on the top just like the Mi MIX 2 design.
Another report suggested that the smartphone will bring a proprietary face unlock feature, thereby abandoning the traditional finger print method of unlocking.
Meanwhile, Chinese microblogging website Weibol has also leaked an image of a back cover of Xiaomi Mi 6X.Slashleakshas confirmed it by posting case renders of the same which shows edge-to-edge display and a vertical dual-camera setup.
A circular hole in the middle of the rear panel is expected to be the placeholder for a fingerprint sensor.
As Mi A1 was seen as a rebranding of the Mi 5X, the Mi 6X could be launched as Mi A2 in India. Mi 7 could be its biggest launch at the Mobile World Congress.
Xiaomi has yet not released any official statement about its upcoming smartphones. The credibility of these rumors and leaks has also not been independently verified.
