Instagram Introduces Two New Functions For Stories
Instagram, the photo sharing app of Facebook, has launched out 2 new functions for its Stories named as Stories Archive and Stories Highlights. These functions will allow consumers to cling to favorite moments from the Stories features of Instagram.
Stories Highlights is a latest fraction of your profile where you can keep your favorite Stories. The Stories Highlights comes into view in a fresh section on your profile under your bio.
To make a highlight, consumers will have to click on the “New” circle. From this point onwards, they will have to select from archive any stories. After this, they need to select a cover for the highlight and offer it a title. Once this is executed, the highlight will come into view as a circle on the profile of the consumer that plays as a separate story.
Consumers can include a number of Highlights as per their need and they will stay on the profile unless they are eliminated by the user itself. To remove or edit a highlight, consumers will have to click on your profile and hold that highlight.
Speaking of Stories Archive, this function will keep archive your Stories when they run out. Consumers in your archive can click on any story to see it. From there, consumers can share it as a post, include it to their story, or add it to a highlight. Consumers can only view their personal archived stories, and can select at any time to switch off auto-archiving in profile settings.
“To authorize the Stories in your archive, click the icon for Archive present on the profile. You can simply switch between your new Stories Archive and your Posts Archive from there. Your stories will come into view in a grid with the latest stories at the bottom in your Stories Archive,” claimed the firm in a blog post.
